Pilot Software: New Sales Channel

 Pilot Software published mainframe software that
was only accessible to high-level managers.
 Pilot wished to migrate the software onto PCs
to make it available to mid-level managers within client companies.
 Demonstrate the softwares broad capabilities
and ease-of-use to the middle managers. PCG developed advertising,
direct mail and a newsletter for users to reinforce the message.
 As a result of our marketing efforts (advertising
and collateral), General Motors purchased the product for all its
manufacturing facilities worldwide. Pilot Software was subsequently
purchased by Dun & Bradstreet.
